Blank Rome LLP is pleased to announce that Nicholas C. Guth has joined the firm’s Philadelphia office as an associate in the General Litigation group.
Nicholas joins Blank Rome following his role as Trial Department Head and Trial Counsel for the United States Navy’s Region Legal Service Office (“RLSO”) in Yokosuka, Japan. In this role, Nicholas led all aspects of charging, discovery, trial, and sentencing for Special and General Courts-Martial across Japan, Singapore, Australia, the Philippines, Diego Garcia, Guam, and Korea. He handled plea negotiations and drafted motions in limine, pre-trial subpoenas, and warrants for the United States.
Nicholas also served the Navy’s RLSO in San Diego, California as both an assistant trial counsel within its Trial Department and separations officer within its Command Services Department. He currently serves as a lieutenant within the United States Navy Reserve and is a member of the Navy Reserve Law Program.

Admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, Nicholas received his J.D., magna cum laude, from Temple University Beasley School of Law and his B.A., cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania. While in law school, Nicholas served as a certified legal intern for the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office, a certified legal intern for the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office, and a legal intern for the Office of Enforcement, Trial Unit of the United States Security and Exchange Commission’s Philadelphia branch.
