Blank Rome Welcomes New Corporate Litigation Of Counsel in New York
Blank Rome LLP is pleased to announce that Ryan Cronin has rejoined the Firm’s New York office as Of Counsel in the Corporate Litigation group, which recently also welcomed new Partner Liz Klingensmith to the Firm’s Houston office in April 2017.
Mr. Cronin rejoins Blank Rome after serving as of counsel at Jaspan Schlesinger, LLP, where he was a member of the litigation practice group. He concentrates his practice on commercial and corporate litigation, representing clients in matters involving complex contract disputes, breach of fiduciary duty claims, real estate disputes, fraud claims, bankruptcy disputes, and trusts and estates disputes.
In addition to his legal practice, Mr. Cronin was a candidate for the New York State Senate in two closely contested general election campaigns against a longtime incumbent. During his campaign in 2016, Mr. Cronin was endorsed by President Obama, among other prominent political leaders, and his race was named by the Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee as one of the 45 “Essential Races” out of nearly 6,000 state legislative races in the country.
Admitted to practice in New York and the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York, Mr. Cronin earned his J.D. from Washington University in St. Louis School of Law where he served as the associate editor for the Washington University Journal of Law & Policy. He received his B.A. in Political Science, with a minor in Economics, from Loyola University in Maryland. Mr. Cronin has been recognized in 2015 and 2016 as a “Rising Star” in New York by Super Lawyers.
