Blank Rome Welcomes New Consumer Finance Litigation Associate in New York

Blank Rome LLP is pleased to announce that Alina Levi has joined the Firm’s New York office as an associate in the Consumer Financial Services group, which also welcomed partner Scott D. Samlin and associate Avinoam D. Erdfarb to the same office this past summer.

Alina joins Blank Rome from Houser & Allison, APC. She concentrates her practice on a variety of consumer finance litigation matters, including disputes under TILA, RESPA, FCRA, ECOA, FDCPA, state law UDAAP claims, and a variety of common law claims. She also represents lenders and loan servicers in contested foreclosures, quiet title actions, federal forfeiture proceedings, hazard insurance disputes, bankruptcy and adversary proceedings, and appeals.

Alina was previously an assistant district attorney for the Bronx District Attorney’s Office and held numerous legal and judicial internships and externships throughout New York and New Jersey courts and state agencies. She is an active member of the New York State Bar Association, New York City Bar Association, and American Bar Association.

Admitted to practice in New York, New Jersey, as well as New York and New Jersey district courts, Alina earned her J.D. from Brooklyn Law School and her B.A. in Philosophy, summa cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania.
