Blank Rome Welcomes New Business Litigation Associates Jamison T. Gilmore and Gregory P. Ranzini

Blank Rome LLP is pleased to announce that Jamison T. Gilmore and Gregory (“Greg”) P. Ranzini have joined the firm’s Los Angeles and Wilmington offices, respectively, as associates in the Business Litigation group. Jamison joins Blank Rome from King & Spalding LLP and Greg joins the firm from Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP. 

Jamison and Greg’s arrival follows several notable hires in the firm’s Business Litigation group across the firm, including partners Emily L. HusseyShane PenningtonRachael G. Pontikes, and Shannon E. McClure, as well as associates Garrison B. AmbroseSusan J. Dewey,Kelly J. Kearney, and Alycia S. Tulloch

Jamison represents plaintiffs and defendants in complex commercial disputes from pre-litigation through trial and arbitration across various industries, including media and entertainment, technology, healthcare, energy, and construction. He is experienced in handling matters involving trade secret misappropriation, breach of contract, copyright infringement, and unfair business practices. Jamison previously clerked for three judges at the Los Angeles Superior Court where he drafted over 3,000 tentative orders, none of which were reversed on appeal.

Admitted to practice in California, Jamison received his J.D. from Southwestern Law School, and his B.A. from California State University, Long Beach. Jamison serves as the assistant vice president of public relations for the Los Angeles County Bar Association’s (“LACBA”) Barristers and Young Attorneys Section. Additionally, he is an executive committee member for LACBA’s Entertainment and Intellectual Property Section and Southwestern Law School’s American Inn of Court. 

Greg focuses his practice on complex corporate and commercial litigation in both state and federal courts in Delaware and beyond. He has extensive experience in discovery, including e-discovery, document review management, expert discovery, depositions, and motion practice. Greg also has an active pro bono practice, handling civil rights and post-conviction litigation matters.

Greg is admitted to practice in Delaware and received his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law, and his B.A., summa cum laude, from the College of William & Mary. During law school, Greg served as an editorial board member of the Virginia Journal of International Law and as the news editor of the Virginia Law Weekly
