Blank Rome LLP is pleased to announce that Ryan F. Coy has joined the firm’s Los Angeles office as an associate in the Business Litigation practice group. Ryan’s arrival reflects the group’s continued strategic growth, which welcomed 15 partners and associates in 2025. Ryan joins Blank Rome from Saul Ewing LLP.
Ryan represents clients in a wide range of commercial disputes in both federal courts and California state courts. He advises businesses, fiduciaries, and creditors in complex cases involving commercial claims, insolvency matters, and other civil litigation. Ryan is accomplished in handling all aspects of state and federal litigation, including matters before U.S. District Courts, federal appellate courts, and U.S. Bankruptcy Courts.
Admitted to practice in California, Ryan received his J.D., magna cum laude, from Michigan State University College of Law and his B.S. from Central Michigan University. He is highly involved with the Los Angeles Bankruptcy Forum, serving as a board member and co-chair of the Young Professionals Committee. He also contributes as a member of the California Bankruptcy Forum’s conference committee and co-chair of YIP Education.
