Blank Rome Welcomes Corporate and Securities Associate in New York
Blank Rome LLP is pleased to announce that Elena P. Jacque has joined the Firm’s New York office as an associate in the Corporate, M&A, and Securities group, which welcomed Partner Louis Meng to the Shanghai office and Of Counsel Eddie Edwards to the Pittsburgh office earlier this year.
Ms. Jacque joins the Firm from Ellenoff Grossman & Schole LLP. She concentrates her practice on all aspects of corporate and securities law, with a particular focus on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, securities regulation, public and private offerings, and general corporate matters.
Ms. Jacque assists public and private companies in M&A transactions and securities offerings, including representing underwriters and issuers in public equity offerings, and underwriters, issuers, and collateral managers in matters involving the structuring, securitization, and refinancing of collateralized loan obligations. She also represents entrepreneurs and emerging companies as their outside general counsel on a variety of matters, from entity formation and corporate governance to financings and M&A exit events.
Admitted to practice in Massachusetts and New York, Ms. Jacque earned her J.D. from Fordham University School of Law where she served as an associate editor of the Fordham International Law Journal and managing editor of the Fordham Dispute Resolution Society. She received her B.A. in Philosophy and Comparative Literature and Literary Theory, cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania.
