Blank Rome Continues Expansion of Labor & Employment Group by Enhancing Its Traditional Labor Practice with Of Counsel David G. Rodriguez in Philadelphia

Blank Rome LLP is pleased to announce that David G. Rodriguez has joined the firm’s Philadelphia office as an of counsel in the Labor & Employment group, which welcomed partners Allison N. PowersDaniel J. Sobol, and Brandon S. Shemtob and associates Michael G. Greenfield and Derek E. Schultz earlier this year. David’s addition continues the group's strategic expansion in traditional labor and union matters, bringing in significant experience from his time as an attorney at the National Labor Relations Board (“NLRB”).

David represents employers in collective bargaining, labor law counseling, arbitrations, and in investigations and litigation before the NLRB. He advises clients across a variety of industries, including transportation, healthcare, utilities, and retail.

David joins Blank Rome from the NLRB, where he served for nearly 15 years in the Philadelphia regional office. During his tenure, he led investigations and prosecutions of unfair labor practice charges, oversaw representation and decertification elections, negotiated settlements in complex labor disputes, and obtained labor injunctions under Section 10(j) of the National Labor Relations Act.

Admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, David received his J.D. from Pennsylvania State University, Dickinson School of Law, and his B.A. from Pennsylvania State University.
