Orlacchio, a partner in the firm’s Wilmington office and Business Litigation group, has been elected to return to the Delaware State Bar Association (“DSBA”) Litigation Section’s Executive Committee for the 2025-2026 term. In this role, Adam will work with other committee members to provide strategic direction and planning for the Litigation Section.
It is the mission of the DSBA’s Litigation Section to promote and advance the interests of attorneys and the judiciary in the litigation of civil matters, consistent with DSBA principles. The Section strives to: (i) enhance communication between the bench and the bar; (ii) promote the professional development and interests of its members; (iii) improve its members’ public service in advancing civil matters in this State; and (iv) to serve the community in which its members live and practice. In seeking to promote a common meeting ground for all attorneys who represent litigants in Delaware, the Section promotes and enhances communication by and between its members in ways that both enrich their professional careers and foster professionalism and camaraderie. With a focus on Delaware corporate and commercial litigation, Adam maintains a national litigation practice and provides legal counsel to clients on a wide range of business issues. He frequently advises clients on complex commercial, corporate, and employment litigation matters. Adam has been active in and served in leadership of Delaware State Bar Association for nearly 16 years. In 2016, he was elected to serve as chair for the Litigation Section, and previously served one term as vice chair, one term as secretary, and several terms as an executive committee member for the Litigation Section. From 2019 to 2021, Adam also served two terms on the DSBA Executive Committee, which serves as the board of directors for the bar association statewide. In his various roles for the DSBA, Adam has worked closely with Delaware’s judicial members and other leaders in the Delaware litigation community to consider best practices, policies and rules for litigating complex commercial matters before all of Delaware’s courts. Adam also serves as a moderator and presenter at various DSBA litigation seminars and CLE events.
