Shemtob to its list of the 10 most prominent lateral moves in Philadelphia's legal industry for 2025, compiled with input from legal industry observers. Daniel and Brandon joined the firm’s Philadelphia office in January as labor and employment partners, representing employers in traditional labor, union, and employment matters across industries. Daniel Sobol and Brandon Shemtob
Blank Rome added labor and employment partners Daniel Sobol and Brandon Shemtob from Stevens & Lee. The move in January gave Blank Rome over 50 lawyers in its labor and employment practice, including 13 in Philadelphia. The duo is unique to Blank Rome’s Philadelphia office in that the firm did not have partners with a primary focus on labor law before their arrival. Sobol said that Blank Rome’s national geographic presence will allow him and Shemtob to enhance their labor relations practice, with overlap in industry sectors such as transportation, real estate, cannabis, hospitality, and gaming.
