William Dorsey Partner, Blank Rome

Scope of work:&nbsp;Dorsey is a founding partner of Blank Rome’s Chicago office and co-chairs its business litigation practice. He oversees 150 litigators across 16 offices, managing strategy, recruitment, and mentorship while representing major financial institutions.

Significant case:&nbsp;He secured the return of a $100 million misappropriated real estate portfolio, won a total defense verdict in a $48 million lender liability case, and obtained an $18 million judgment and real estate foreclosure. He also won dismissal of eight cases in a Florida appellate ruling on lender liability.

Other contributions:&nbsp;Dorsey leads initiatives at Christ Church Winnetka, supports at-risk youth in theater programs, and teaches legal education seminars.

Daniel Saeedi Partner, Blank Rome

Scope of work: Saeedi leads Blank Rome’s biometric privacy team, overseeing attorneys nationwide and focusing on biometric privacy, data security, and AI compliance.

Significant case: He secured dismissal of a privacy class action and mass arbitration for a national online services provider, achieved no liability for a railroad vendor in the first biometric privacy jury trial, and convinced a court to apply a 2024 amendment retroactively to foreclose remedies.
