Sobol</a> will serve as a speaker at the North Carolina Bar Association Corporate Counsel Section’s <a href="https://cle.ncbar.org/courses/103674">It’s About the People: Exploring Relationships at the Core of Our Practice</a>, being held April 29 through 30, 2025, as a live webcast.

This program is designed for in-house counsel, navigating how relationships impact how they practice law within a company. Sessions will cover typical topics that come up in practice, such as bad actors and investigations, labor unions, lobbying, how to protect or keep employees during mergers and acquisition deals, and how technology can help a legal group. Attendees will gain valuable insight into managing complex legal issues through effective communication and collaboration.

Daniel’s session, “What Do You Do When the Union Knocks at Your Door (Other than Panic)?” will take place on Tuesday, April 29, from 11:20 a.m. to 12:20 p.m. EDT.

The panel will explore the current state of the law with respect to unions, anticipated changes with the current administration, employees’ perception and receptiveness to unions, and the questions and issues in-house counsel should be able to address immediately regarding union and unionization.
