Blank Rome partner and Privacy, Security & Data Protection practice co-chair Philip N. Yannella will serve as a discussion leader at the University of Pennsylvania’s Schlein Center for Cybersecurity Launch Event, Cybersecurity at the Crossroads: Technology, Security, and Society in the Age of AI, being held in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, from 2:00 to 5:30 p.m., with a reception to follow.
Penn’s Schlein Center for Cybersecurity is a world leader in security and privacy by design, developing innovative approaches for building systems that are secure from the ground up. The Center’s researchers partner with experts in law, policy, economics, and health, as well as established and emerging industry leaders, to translate lab successes into real security and privacy improvements for organizations and society.
Phil will lead the Closing Conversation, a Q&A discussion with Gen. Timothy Haugh (Former Commander, U.S. Cyber Command; Former Director, National Security Agency), Jen Easterly (Chief Executive Officer, RSA Conference; Visiting Fellow, Blavatnik School of Government; Former Director, Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency), Ted Schlein (Founder, Schlein Center for Cybersecurity), and Michael Hicks (Director, Schlein Center for Cybersecurity).
