This CLE program explores impacts to Texas energy companies from recent business-friendly legislation in Texas. The panel will discuss the changes and what energy companies should look out for—including codification of the business judgment rule, and other protections for corporate decision-makers. They will also provide a brief update on important energy-related cases filed in the Texas Business Court, and early and emerging trends about cases filed there. Attendees will gain insights into the practical implications for deal structuring, governance, and risk management.
