Arash Beral, equity/voting partner at Blank Rome, is being recognized as one of more than 40 Lawyers on the Fast Track as part of&nbsp;The Recorder’s&nbsp;California Legal Awards.

Beral&nbsp;recently shared with&nbsp;The Recorder&nbsp;his&nbsp;most significant matters over the last year.

Please describe your practice area and any leadership positions you’ve taken on at your firm or in the broader legal community.Practice/Leadership: Arash Beral represents businesses and executives engaged in all industries as well as professionals, celebrities, and influencers in complex, multidisciplinary litigation, including trials, arbitrations, and appeals across the country. His practice routinely includes management, partnership, and corporate governance disputes; real estate litigation; business disputes and business torts; disputes over rights of first refusal; trade secret claims; executive compensation claims; fiduciary litigation; borrower-lender litigation; commercial claims; franchise claims; defamation and SLAPP litigation; receivership actions; and regulatory enforcement matters.

Beral devotes a significant amount of time to pro bono service, most recently assisting Afghan immigrants, and serves as co-lead of his firm’s BR MENA affinity group, a community for Middle Eastern and North African ethnocultural colleagues.

What are three significant matters you’ve worked on in the last year?Winston Salem RI LLC v. Ladder Capital Finance LLC, 2023 WL 4065548&nbsp;(Supreme Court, Appellate Division, First Department, New York, opinion issued June 20, 2023). Just last month, Beral obtained a unanimous reversal in a case venued in New York’s Appellate Division; Beral argued the appeal.
