What sets Palmer apart and drives him as a leader is ensuring that the firm maintains its strong culture and core values of promoting collaboration and contributing to others; providing extraordinary client service; advancing diversity and fostering inclusiveness; and giving back through pro bono and community service.

Some of his recent accomplishments include welcoming 75 lateral partners across offices and practices; opening offices in Chicago and Orange County; surpassing $500 million in revenue and one million hours for the first time in 2021 and continued upward trajectory in 2022.

He significantly increased revenues and profitability each year over the past four years, leading to record performances.&nbsp;He hired full-time&nbsp;director of D&amp;I and senior D&amp;I specialist; hired the firm’s first chief&nbsp;innovation &amp; value&nbsp;officer and&nbsp;implemented annual Innovation Challenge to drive new ideas focused on enhanced client service.

What’s the first piece of advice you would give someone dealing with a crisis?

Take a breath and start gathering all the facts. Important decisions, especially in a crisis, can only be made with a full understanding of all the facts. And equally important is to activate your circle of leadership and advisors who can help ensure that a plan can be developed and implemented, taking into consideration all audiences and stakeholders.
