Blank Rome partner and Litigation Department co-chair Brett S. Ward recently spoke with Extra TV about the protracted litigation between Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie over Chateau Miraval.
Brett explained, "Certainly, his counsel knew anything they file is public in California."
He continued, "I think this lawsuit emanates from a very emotional place for Brad and I think this is one of those situations where money is no object."
"If cooler heads prevail, it should settle. If they don't, I think a public trial is exactly what we may have in store for us," Brett said.
