Blank Rome LLP is pleased to announce that Paige L. Baldwin has joined the firm’s Philadelphia office as an associate in the Financial Institutions Litigation and Regulatory Compliance (“FILARC”) group.
Paige concentrates her practice on financial institutions litigation and regulatory compliance matters with a particular focus on representing mortgage loan servicers, lenders, and other financial institutions in all aspects of litigation and dispute resolution. She advises clients on issues involving compliance with the Truth in Lending Act, the Fair Credit Reporting Act, the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, state unfair and deceptive acts and practices laws, and various other federal and state consumer protection laws and regulations.
She joins the firm from Horn Williamson, LLC, where she focused on construction defect litigation and community association litigation. Paige advised clients on Fair Debt Collections Practices Act compliance, bid protests, and defended against Mechanics’ Liens.
Admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, Paige received her J.D. from The Drexel University Thomas R. Kline School of Law, and her B.S. from Rutgers University-New Brunswick. During law school, Paige served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Paula A. Patrick for the Philadelphia County Court of Common Pleas, a founding member of the Young Democrats Society, a member of the Thomas R. Kline School of Law Inn of Courts, and a student mentor to 1L students.
Before starting her legal career, Paige served as the operations manager at an energy efficiency and green building services company specializing in energy code consulting and compliance with state and federal certification programs.
