Blank Rome LLP has been named an&nbsp;<a href="https://www.makejusticehappen.org/get-involved/equal-access-to-justice-champions/">Equal Access to Justice Champion</a>&nbsp;by Houston Volunteer Lawyers (“HVL”) for the 2023–2024 bar year. The firm’s Houston office is recognized for its dedication to helping the local community through pro bono work.&nbsp;

Founded in 2006, the Equal Access to Justice Champion Program requires firms in Houston to take on a certain number of pro bono cases each year based on the number of lawyers in their office. Firms that participate in the program pledge to annually accept one pro bono case for every five attorneys. With more than 35 attorneys in the firm’s Houston office, Blank Rome earned the Champion title by exceeding its target and completing 27 pro bono cases this year.
