Blank Rome partner Elizabeth N. Jochum will serve as a panel moderator at the Boards of Contract Appeals Bar Association’s (“BCABA”) 2026 BCABA Fall Policy Colloquium, being held Wednesday, September 23, 2026, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., in Washington, D.C. 

About the Program

This year’s Fall Colloquium will explore processes and strategies for alternative dispute resolution before the Boards of Contract Appeals (“BCAs”), and discuss strategies for how to effectively employ expert witnesses in litigation before the BCAs. Speakers will also offer thoughts on how these matters might best be addressed by the BCAs.

Elizabeth’s session, “Alternative Dispute Resolution Processes and Strategies,” will take place from 9:15 to 10:15 a.m.

The panel will explore the various processes for alternative dispute resolution before the Boards of Contract Appeals. Panelists will discuss strategies, ethical considerations, and practical realities to resolve litigation short of a hearing.
