Summer Associates & Pro Bono Service

All of Blank Rome's summer associates are invited to participate as an integral team member in our pro bono program and projects.

Our summer associates have worked on matters as varied as asylum cases, child custody, domestic violence, estate planning for low-income senior citizens, formation of nonprofit entities that help underserved populations, law reform legislative drafting, and death penalty appeals.

First-year law students who spend a summer with us and receive and accept our offer to return for a second summer are also offered a Blank Rome Public Interest Fellowship. This fellowship allows students to spend half their second summer working at a law-related public interest organization while being paid by Blank Rome.
