Blank Rome Named a 2017 Pennsylvania Powerhouse by Law360

Blank Rome LLP has been named a 2017 Pennsylvania Powerhouse by Law360, marking the second year that the Firm has been recognized for its sizable footprint in Pennsylvania and its significant regional accomplishments.

According to Law360, the five firms making up this year’s Pennsylvania Powerhouses list have “taken advantage of the state's historically deep legal talent pool and a dynamic, ever-evolving economic base” and have been able to “capitalize on their long and fruitful histories to create new opportunities, as evidenced by their impressive recent accomplishments in the state.”

Law360 further expands on Blank Rome’s recognition as a Pennsylvania Powerhouse by stating that the Firm “continues to be a go-to firm for growing businesses in the region,” and that the Firm’s significant capabilities, growth, representations, and clients in the energy, intellectual property and technology, banking and financial services, real estate, and middle-market arenas, as well as its prolific national litigation practice and deep bench strength and prominent regional attorneys, significantly enhanced the Firm’s profile.

On Blank Rome being recognized as a 2017 Pennsylvania Powerhouse, Law360 states:

“As shale gas production continues to power Pennsylvania's economy, Blank Rome LLP in 2017 helped smooth the path for two massive construction projects harnessing that gas: Shell Chemical Appalachia's $6 billion petrochemical processing facility and the 350-mile Mariner East 2 pipeline, now a project of Energy Transfer Partners.

Work on behalf of these two energy giants, along with continued success in servicing the middle-market businesses that have been its lifeblood in Pennsylvania for years, helped place the Philadelphia-based firm on Law360's Pennsylvania Powerhouses list.”
