Blank Rome Successfully Defends Award of Two Military Sealift Command Contracts for Erickson, Inc.

Blank Rome successfully defended the award of two contracts—each valued at over $35M—to Erickson, Inc., an American aircraft manufacturing and operating company based in Portland, OR. The contracts were issued by the Military Sealift Command for ship-based and/or shore-based helicopter replenishment services.

Two of Erickson’s competitors, AAR Airlift Group, Inc. and Air Center Helicopters, Inc., filed protests with the U.S. Government Accountability Office (“GAO”) challenging the awards. GAO denied both protests on all grounds.
