Jillian R. Zvolensky

Biography

Jillian Zvolensky concentrates her practice on finance, business restructuring, and bankruptcy matters across a wide range of industries. She has significant transaction experience in the following:

  • Acquisition and leveraged buyout financing
  • Asset based financing 
  • Cash flow financing
  • Secured transactions 
  • Restructurings, reorganizations and workouts

She is co-author of “A Look at the Friendly Foreclosure Option,” prepared for the American Bar Association Business Law Section Spring Meeting in San Francisco, California (April 16–18, 2015) and published by Law360 on June 2, 2015.

Jillian actively volunteers for Compass Philadelphia, a provider of pro bono consulting services whose work benefits the Greater Philadelphia community.

While in law school, Jillian was a judicial intern for the Honorable Mary L. Cooper of the Federal District Court for the District of New Jersey and served as the executive editor for professional articles for the Review of Banking & Financial Law. She authored The Municipal Securities Market: How Increasing the Unfunded Ratios of Public Pension Plans Can Be a Good Thing, 32 REV. BANKING & FIN. L. 75 (2012).

Prior to attending law school, Jillian was a legal assistant for a local Philadelphia law firm.

  • Represented lender in a $90,000,000 financing for a beer distributor. 
  • Represented lender in an Article 9 asset sale of a precision machined components manufacturer.
  • Represented lender in a $135,000,000 bankruptcy exit facility.
  • Represented agent in a $205,000,000 syndicated DIP loan facility.
  • Represented lender, in $10.5 million term loan and two million dollar revolving line of credit for a provider of point of care software and laboratory billings software to hospitals and hospital laboratories.
