Lois Liberman Named 2022 Northeast Trailblazer by The American Lawyer
Blank Rome LLP is pleased to announce that Lois Liberman, a partner in the firm's Matrimonial & Family Law practice group, has been named a 2022 Northeast Trailblazer by The American Lawyer.
This supplement honors legal professionals in the Northeast of the United States (defined by The American Lawyer as Maine, New York, New Jersey, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New Hampshire, and Pennsylvania) who are agents of change in their respective practice areas and have moved the needle in the legal industry.

What was the genesis of the idea/path that has made you a trailblazer?
I launched a salon series called LOOKED AHEAD by Lois Liberman for current, "graduated" and prospective clients, which I hoped would serve as a resource to address challenges that many separated, divorcing and divorced people face. I aspired to organically build a community where participants could see that they were not alone in their struggles.
We've covered topics such as co-parenting with a narcissist, getting "unstuck" during and after divorce, taking charge of one's financial well-being and how to tackle online dating.
What sort of change has resulted from the concept?
LOOK AHEAD continues to grow and evolve. Initially, we featured onto-to-one interviews with a subject matter expert, such as a licensed therapist, and now we are developing more robust programs with multiple speakers who can lend their unique perspectives on a topic. For instance, a recent LOOK AHEAD focused on how to boost your dating savvy and freshen your look, and our panelists were Bumble Chief Branding Officer Selby Drummond, Goop Beauty Editor Jean Godfrey-June and image consultant Ashley Schafer.
Some salons are recorded for those who are unable to attend in person. Also, to complement the salon, the LOOK AHEAD conversation extends to my LinkedIn community with posts on timely topics, offering tips and legal guidance.
What bearing will this have on the future?
Our community is engaged. The conversations will continue to be relevant and refreshingly candid. Participants will continue to support one another, and strength will be gained from the insight of those who have survived and thrived. As the law and our culture continue to change, LOOK AHEAD will serve as a resource to empower clients and help them move forward with confidence, flourish and get past a life-changing and often painful experience.
