According to the publication, the "Up & Coming Lawyers" are rising stars. They are Massachusetts attorneys who have been members of the bar for 10 years or less but have already distinguished themselves.
Lauren was recognized at Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly's Excellence in the Law event on March 18, 2025, at Venezia Restaurant Boston. She was one of 24 honorees in the "Up & Coming Lawyers" category.

In her still young career, Lauren M. Forster has already handled clients that span a wide range of industries including cannabis, banking, information technology, life sciences, biotech, plastics and recyclables, processing and distribution. She focuses on commercial contracts, M& A, finance, securities and private equity matters, but also serves as outside general counsel on matters concerning board meetings and other corporate matters.
Q. What do you consider your biggest achievement as a lawyer to date?
A. My biggest achievement as a lawyer has been to create a young professional networking group of 25+ members for the cannabis industry in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. This is a group of rising leaders that work in and/ or service the cannabis market, comprising of operators, insurance providers, lawyers, accountants, marketing agencies and financial institutions. This group was created to fill a void of collaboration and networking groups that are absent in cannabis.
