Blank Rome LLP is pleased to announce that of counsel Evan Jason Zucker has been named the winner of Global Restructuring Review’s (“GRR”) 2024 Future Leader Award.
Evan received the award at the GRR Awards ceremony on November 21, 2024, in London. The ceremony celebrates “the restructuring practices and individuals that have impressed most over the past year.”
Evan was recognized with this prestigious award for his outstanding contribution and leadership in the international restructuring community. An active member of the invitation-only International Insolvency Institute (“III”), Evan co-chairs the organization’s USA/Canada/Caribbean regional committee and is a III delegate to United Nations Commission on International Trade Law’s (“UNCITRAL”) Working Group V.
At Blank Rome, Evan concentrates his practice on corporate reorganizations and related complex litigation in national and cross-border matters. He frequently represents foreign representatives in Chapter 15 proceedings, creditors’ committees, secured creditors, indenture trustees, executory contract parties, and other key parties in interest. Evan recently represented the cell therapy company Gamida Cell in a unique combination of debt arrangement proceedings in Israel, alongside Chapter 15 and pre-packaged Chapter 11 proceedings in Delaware, a matter which was shortlisted for GRR’s “pioneering spirit award.”
