David Oberly Receives the Ohio Association of Civil Trial Attorneys’ 2018 Outstanding Young Lawyer Award
Blank Rome Associate David J. Oberly has been named the winner of the 2018 Outstanding Young Lawyer Award by the Ohio Association of Civil Trial Attorneys (“OACTA”).
As part of the OACTA Annual Meeting, David was presented with his award at the Legal Excellence Awards Luncheon held on Thursday, November 15, at the Hyatt Regency Columbus. Each year, the Outstanding Young Lawyer Award recognizes the contributions to the legal profession of an OACTA member who has been practicing law for ten years or less. Active in the OACTA, David currently serves as co-chair of its Environmental Law and Toxic Torts Committee and chair of its Social Media Committee. David is also active in the Cincinnati Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Section, serving as co-chair of its Run for Kids 5K Planning Committee and as a member of its Social Committee. As a result of his accomplishments in the courtroom and in the Ohio community, in 2018, David was selected to participate in Class 22 of the Cincinnati Bar Association's Cincinnati Academy of Leadership for Lawyers program.
