Blank Rome’s Pro Bono Practice Group of the Year Award Presented to General Litigation Group

Blank Rome LLP is pleased to announce that the firm’s annual Pro Bono Practice Group of the Year Award was presented to the General Litigation practice group, which led the firm’s pro bono activity. The award recognizes the firm’s practice group with the highest pro bono performance, as measured by the average number of pro bono hours per attorney and percentage of attorneys completing more than 20 hours of pro bono work per year.

“By encouraging and supporting pro bono services provided by our General Litigation Practice Group, our youngest litigators develop a passion for the pro bono values that are rooted in our firm’s culture and history,” said Gregory Bordo, Co-Chair of Blank Rome’s Litigation department.  “Through mentoring and training, we are proud to see the General Litigation associates carry on the responsibility all lawyers have to ensure equal access to legal representation."

Blank Rome’s national General Litigation group, which has seen recent significant growth, is a team of accomplished attorneys from across the firm who focus their practices on a wide range of corporate and commercial litigation matters and are experienced handling all stages of litigation. The General Litigation attorneys handled a variety of important pro bono matters in 2021, including Afghan Humanitarian Parole applications, landlord and tenant cases, human trafficking matters, civil rights matters, criminal pardons, and more.
