Blank Rome’s Larry Beaser Named SeniorLAW Center’s “Champion of the Year”
Blank Rome Partner Lawrence J. Beaser will be honored with the SeniorLAW Center’s prestigious “Champion of the Year” award in recognition of his support and advocacy for justice and the rights of seniors, and the significant impact he has made in improving and enriching the lives of others.
The award will be presented at the SeniorLAW Center’s 2017 Gala, held on May 17, 2017, at the Crystal Tea Room in Philadelphia. Themed “Age Out Loud,” this year’s gala aligns with the Center’s national theme of honoring the voices of elders across the country. Mr. Beaser has extensive experience in the fields of nonprofit and for-profit business law, health law, and government law. He previously served as chancellor of the 12,500 attorney Philadelphia Bar Association, and currently serves as chair of the Board of Managers of The Philadelphia Foundation. Mr. Beaser has received numerous award honoring his lifetime commitment to community service and advocacy, including the Philadelphia Bar Foundation’s Honorable Louis H. Pollak Champion of the Public Interest Award, the Support Center for Child Advocates’ Distinguished Advocate for Children Award, and Blank Rome’s Edwin P. Rome Pro Bono Achievement Award, among others.
