The chairman and managing partner at Blank Rome, Hoffman has guided the firm toward expansion in several key markets. After adding a Fort Lauderdale office to deal with its growing consumer finance practice, Blank Rome opened a Pittsburgh office with four partners from Philadelphia rival Duane Morris. But perhaps the biggest move came in June when Blank Rome acquired 24-lawyer intellectual property law firm Wong Cabello Lutsch Rutherford & Brucculeri to its Houston office—one of the hottest legal markets in the country.
