Blank Rome Recognized by World Trademark Review 1000 2026

Blank Rome is pleased to share that the World Trademark Review ("WTR") 1000 has recognized the firm as a leading trademark practice in Pennsylvania for the 16th consecutive year. The firm earned gold rankings in both “enforcement and litigation” and “prosecution and strategy.”

The publication commended Blank Rome for building its Intellectual Property (“IP”) practice on responsiveness and knowledge sharing, noting that the team “is a cohesive unit offering trademark, patent, and copyright services across the United States and China,” and that the firm’s “Philadelphia practice is upheld by highly adept IP specialists.”

Five Blank Rome partners were individually honored in this year’s guide:

  • Zachary A. Aria
  • Matthew A. Homyk
  • Timothy D. Pecsenye
  • David M. Perry
  • Megan E. Spitz

David Perry, co-chair of the firm’s Intellectual Property & Technology group, is recognized for managing complex international portfolios for companies of all sizes. WTR also highlighted that “Timothy Pecsenye is a sure pick for any issues brought before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office,” and that “Matthew Homyk offers a niche in IP issues relating to the internet.” The publication further praised Zachary Aria for his multinational trademark counseling, and Megan Spitz, who “stands out with a vocation in advertising issues for brands.”
