Blank Rome Named a 2025 Leader in Corporate Compliance and Cross-Border Litigation by China Business Law Journal

China Business Law Journal

Blank Rome is pleased to announce that our firm, which has a Representative Office in Shanghai, has been named a 2025 leader in the practice areas of Corporate Compliance and Cross-Border Litigation by the China Business Law Journal (“CBLJ”) in its China Business Law Awards 2025.

Blank Rome is one of only 10 international law firms recognized for excellence in both categories, based on performance in 2024. These awards primarily honor firms with comprehensive service offerings and strong national reputations.

“I am proud that our Shanghai Representative Office has once again been recognized by the China Business Law Journal,” said Mike Margolis, chair of the firm’s Asia Practice and Shanghai office. “This recognition reflects our team’s deep understanding of the regulatory landscape and our unwavering commitment to guiding clients through the complexities of cross-border legal challenges.”

“We are grateful for the trust and confidence of our clients in China, as together we navigate a changing regulatory and trade environment,” added Matthew J. Thomas, partner and Shanghai office co-representative.

According to the China Business Law Journal, this year’s winners in each category were selected based on firm submissions, endorsements from client referees, and valid nominations from the industry, along with input from government institutions, the judiciary, and academia.
