Blank Rome Named a 2018 “Top Law Firm for Pro Bono” by the Philadelphia Business Journal
For the third year in a row, Blank Rome has been ranked as one of the top five law firms for pro bono service in the Philadelphia region by the Philadelphia Business Journal. This year’s ranking is based on the Firm’s donated pro bono hours in 2016.
Law firms ranked in the 2018 list were invited in 2017 to complete the pro bono section of the Philadelphia Business Journal’s annual law firms survey by providing their hours donated in 2016. To view the entire “Top Law Firms for Pro Bono” list, please click here.
Under the leadership of Grant Palmer, Chair of Blank Rome’s Pro Bono Committee, and Kathy Ochroch, Director of Pro Bono Services, Blank Rome has a formal pro bono policy that requires each of the Firm’s attorneys and paralegals to undertake at least 25 hours of pro bono service every year. As a result of this successful policy, Blank Rome has experienced more than 99 percent participation in pro bono work from the Firm’s attorneys each year since 2015.
