Blank Rome Highly Ranked in The American Lawyer’s 2021 Summer Associates Survey
Blank Rome LLP was recognized as one of the top five law firms nationally for summer associate satisfaction in The American Lawyer’s 2021 Summer Associates Survey, and notably ranked in the top two regionally for New York (#1) and Philadelphia (#2).
This year’s survey asked summer associates employed by the nation’s largest law firms to examine various aspects of job satisfaction, focusing on how the pandemic and remote work affected their experience as many law firms opted for varying degrees of hybrid summer programs at a time when face-to-face meetings and live events faced challenges amidst the rise of the Delta variant. Overall, the survey found that “summer associates appeared to understand the limitations of the pandemic” and “despite the fact that the vast majority of their time was virtual, they still appreciated the time they got to spend at their firms” to receive training and guidance as well as interesting work.
Blank Rome also recently received national and regional top-tier rankings in The American Lawyer’s 2021 Midlevel Associates Survey, recognized as one of the top 15 law firms for midlevel associate satisfaction and in the top six regionally for Philadelphia (#2) and New York (#6). Additionally, Blank Rome was included as one of the top-ranking firms (#11) in the survey’s technology section.
