Acceptance Speech: Blank Rome’s Alan J. Hoffman Receives AJC’s Judge Learned Hand Award

On January 17, 2018, Alan J. Hoffman received the prestigious Judge Learned Hand Award presented by the American Jewish Committee Philadelphia/Southern New Jersey. Presented annually, the Judge Learned Hand Award recognizes an outstanding member of the Philadelphia legal community who has distinguished themselves through professional achievement and dedicated community leadership. The Judge Learned Hand Award was established in honor of the senior judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit from 1924 to 1951, widely admired as a dean among American jurists and famous for the extremely extensive range of decisions he rendered.
