Blank Rome Partner Jason E. Reisman will serve as the presenter for the Greater Pottstown Society for Human Resource Management (“SHRM”) Chapter program, “What’s Up??? An Update on the Legal and Employment Scene Under the New Administration,” being held on Thursday, April 17, 2025, at 12:00 p.m., in Pottstown, Pennsylvania.
ABOUT THE PROGRAM
Jason will discuss the current priorities of the U.S. Department of Labor and how that impacts enforcement of the Fair Labor Standards Act. He will also cover the transition at the National Labor Relations Board from the Biden administration to the Trump administration and the impact of the Trump administration’s mid-term removal of the general counsel and Board member, as well as the priorities at the NLRB that affect non-union employers. The program is designed to heighten attendees’ sensitivity to, and awareness of, the topics discussed, providing information to enhance their ability to be more proactive in minimizing risk in their own workplace.
