Triumphs & Challenges on the Road to Change with HRC President Alphonso David

In celebration of Pride, Blank Rome LLP is pleased to invite you to a special virtual fireside chat on Tuesday, July 7, 2020, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. EDT, with president of the Human Rights Campaign and Blank Rome alum Alphonso David. He is the first attorney and first person of color to serve as president of the HRC in the organization’s nearly 40-year history. As the nation’s largest LGBTQ civil rights organization, the HRC represents a force of more than 3 million members and supporters in working to achieve LGBTQ equality.

Blank Rome partners and BR Pride Co-Chairs Beth Bernstein Connors and Brett A. Snyder will lead an engaging discussion with Alphonso that will cover timely and important topics, including:

• The Supreme Court decision in Bostock v. Clayton County, and the impact it will have for the LGBTQ community.
• The HRC’s current priorities and initiatives, including how its goals intersect with those of the Black Lives Matter movement.
• Alphonso’s career path and time at Blank Rome, and his career advice for attorneys.
