Transactional Law Honor Society Training Session
Blank Rome LLP will host the Transactional Law Honor Society (“TLHS”) for a transactional law training session on January 5, 2017, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., in the Firm’s Philadelphia office. TLHS is an honor society at Widener University’s Delaware Law School, founded by Blank Rome Associate Peter I. Tsoflias.
During the session, Blank Rome attorneys will discuss the transactional practice, generally, and will provide members with guidance and training in the corporate transactional field. This type of “real world” experience will prepare members for the Transactional LawMeet competition, in which TLHS competes each year.
During this competition, teams draft a contract, mark up an agreement, conduct client interviews, and undertake live contract negotiations. TLHS focuses both on preparing students for this competition and giving students hands on experience in transactional law.
