TradeWinds’ Jones Act Offshore Wind Vessel Forum

Recharge Global Offshore Wind Forum

Online Webinar

Joan M. Bondareff will serve as a panelist for the Recharge Global Offshore Wind Forum, being held Tuesday, November 2, 2021, as a series of three webcast sessions.

Joan’s session, “TradeWinds’ Jones Act Offshore Wind Vessel Forum,” will take place from 12:00 to 1:30 p.m. EDT.

SESSION INFORMATION

The offshore wind market in U.S. waters is equal parts challenge and opportunity. President Joe Biden has set a goal of producing 30 gigawatts of wind power by 2030, and that could lead to demand for three dozen vessels that cost between $100 million and $450 million. But the Jones Act cabotage law requires these vessels to be built at a U.S. yard, owned by American companies, and crewed by U.S. seafarers. How will America’s maritime sector build and finance so many vessels, and will offshore wind farm developers be able to deliver the projects they are needed for? Joan will other industry professionals to answer these questions and more.

OTHER SESSIONS
