Third Annual Fashion for Hope

Blank Rome LLP was proud to sponsor AdventHealth Tampa Foundation’s Third Annual Fashion for Hope event, which was held on Sunday, February 24, 2019, at the Avila Golf & Country Club in Tampa, Florida. Blank Rome Partner Michelle M. Gervais, who is a member of the AdventHealth Tampa Foundation Board of Trustees, served as co-chair of the event.

The fashion show featured breast cancer survivors and women currently undergoing treatment as models, along with others, and raised $100,000. All proceeds from the event benefit AdventHealth Tampa’s Kay Meyer Breast Care Center and will be used to provide 150 mammograms to women who cannot afford them along with other equipment needed during the year.

The Kay Meyer Breast Care Center is exclusively dedicated to the detection, diagnosis, and treatment of breast cancer. This facility allows women to be able to receive all their breast health care in one location with emphasis placed on timely evaluation of the problem, rapid diagnosis, and the provisions of the best options for women with breast disease.
