AACMI, a not-for-profit organization devoted to developing best practices for audit committees, was founded in 2003 by Roderick Hills, former SEC Chair, and has over 500 members, including several international members. Its board of directors consists primarily of prestigious audit committee members of NYSE and Nasdaq listed companies. Fred Lipman is the current president of AACMI.
