Risk Management Lessons Learned from the 2017 Hurricane Season

Blank Rome Partner Jared Zola will speak at RIMS 2019, the annual conference of RIMS, the risk management society™, being held April 28 through May 1, 2019, in Boston, Massachusetts. 

Jared’s session, “Risk Management Lessons Learned from the 2017 Hurricane Season,” will take place on Monday, April 29, from 3:00 to 3:20 p.m., and will revisit that Atlantic hurricane season in light of continuing coverage claims disputes; discuss the skills needed to navigate the legal, insurer, broker, claims consultant, and coverage counsel resolution maze; and pinpoint risk management processes and policy language that can help avoid future disputes.

Keynote speakers for the conference will be Erin Meyer, author of The Culture Map: Breaking Through the Invisible Boundaries of Global Business and professor at INSEAD, one of the world’s leading international business schools; and tennis legend and activist Billie Jean King.
