Blank Rome partner Brett A. Snyder will serve as a speaker at the University of Texas School of Law Continuing Legal Education’s (“UT Law CLE”) 52nd Annual Ernest E. Smith Oil, Gas and Mineral Law Institute, being held April 16 through 17, 2026, in Houston, Texas.
Brett’s session, “Recent Developments in Federal Permitting of LNG and Natural Gas Projects,” will take place on Friday, April 17, from 10:30 to 11:15 a.m.
About the Session
Brett will survey recent developments at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and the Department of Energy and in federal courts, focusing on the difficulties liquefied natural gas (“LNG”) and other natural gas project developers have historically faced due to environmental challenges raised in the regulatory permitting process and on new initiatives to accelerate federal administrative agency review when permitting energy projects.
