About the Webinar

U.S. Department of Commerce Privacy Shield Director Alex Greenstein will explore the effects of the Court of Justice of the European Union’s Schrems II decision on the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield and transatlantic personal data flows writ large. He will give an update on the ongoing negotiation by the United States and the EU of an enhanced Privacy Shield framework following the U.S.-EU Summit, considerations regarding the use of other data transfer mechanisms for transatlantic data flows, and ongoing multilateral discussions regarding data privacy and government access to data.

David, a member of Blank Rome’s Privacy, Security & Data Protection practice group, will participate in the Q&A session following Alex Greenstein’s presentation.
