Preliminary Relief, Attachment, and Pre-Judgment Security

Blank Rome Partner John D. Kimball will speak at Juris Conferences’ Third Annual Conference on Enforcement of Arbitration Awards, being held in Boston, Massachusetts, on Thursday, September 26, 2019, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with a reception to follow.

John’s panel, “Preliminary Relief, Attachment, and Pre-Judgment Security,” will take place from 9:15 to 11:00 a.m. and will cover the steps that award creditors can and do take in order to secure their rights, including preliminary injunctions, pre-award or pre-judgment attachment (“freezing orders”), and pre-judgment security—including under Article VI of the New York Convention (and its Panama Convention counterpart).
