Thompson Center on Public Leadership live webinar Perspectives on Insuring against Low Risk, High Cost Events (e.g. Pandemics), taking place Friday, November 6, 2020, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. PST (12:00 to 2:00 p.m. CST; 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. EST). The webinar is cosponsored by the University of Wisconsin Law School, Austin E. The panel will discuss the current challenges and future possibilities of insuring low-risk, high-cost events. This virtual event is part of the Thompson Center’s ongoing series: Preparing for Public Emergencies.

The discussion will be moderated by Ty Leverty, Associate Professor of Risk & Insurance & Gerald D. Stephens CPCU Distinguished Chair in Risk at the University of Wisconsin School of Business.

This virtual event is free and open to the public. Attendees will have the opportunity to submit questions through the Zoom platform.
