Blank Rome Of Counsel Christopher Hu and Partner Dipu A. Doshi will be speakers at the Practising Law Institute’s (“PLI”) Patent Litigation 2019: Advanced Techniques & Best Practices conference, being held Wednesday and Thursday, November 13 and 14, 2019, in New York, NY, and as a live webcast.

The conference will be taught by a faculty of both outside and in-house lawyers with national reputations in patent litigation will offer guidance on preparing for, managing and trying bench and jury patent trials, as well as U.S. Patent Office post-grant trial proceedings, and the program as a whole will furnish comprehensive coverage of every phase of these patent matters. Judges will provide their insights on the conduct and management of patent litigation, in addition to sharing practical guidance for litigants.

Christopher, who is the conference chairperson, will provide Opening Remarks for the conference at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 13.

Dipu’s session, “The Big Picture—Patent Litigation as Part of a Business Strategy,” will take place on Thursday, November 14, from 2:45 to 3:45 p.m. This panel will discuss the many types of strategic and tactical decisions that should be made before and during litigation and how they fit into a comprehensive business strategy.
