Blank Rome partner Dominique L. Casimir will serve as a panelist at the American Bar Association (“ABA”) Debarment & Suspension Committee Meeting being held Thursday, September 25, 2025, from 12:00 to 1:30 p.m., in Washington, D.C.
The ABA Debarment & Suspension Committee reviews, analyzes, and provides comments with respect to legislative and regulatory measures relating to debarment and suspension of contractors and individuals.
The featured panel discussion for the meeting “Navigating Parallel Proceedings: The Intersection of Present Responsibility Concerns and FCA Matters,” will center around the complex issues associated with navigating parallel proceedings involving the intersection of present responsibility concerns and False Claims Act matters, including investigations, litigation, and settlement.
The experienced panel will offer the Committee the perspectives of both seasoned practitioners who regularly defend contractors in these complex scenarios as well as the perspectives of the Suspension and Debarment Official (“SDO”) community who must often make difficult decisions with incomplete information when facing parallel proceedings.
ABA members can get more information about the webinar at the Meeting webpage.
