Moving Past Stereotypes + How We Can Advocate for Other Women
Blank Rome Partner Michelle Gervais will participate in the 8th annual espnW: Women + Sports Summit, held on October 2-4, 2017, in Newport Beach, California. Following espnW’s mission to connect young women with the sports they love and follow, this two-day event brings together leading voices and industry influencers to focus on creating change and opportunity for women in sports.
Ms. Gervais was appointed to the inaugural espnW “Women in Leadership” committee, who will host the summit session, “Moving Past Stereotypes + How We Can Advocate for Other Women,” on Friday, October 3, from 1:15 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. The panel will feature ESPN executive VP and CFO Christine Driessen, as well as espnW reporter Jane McManus. Together, the committee will discuss the limited support for women in leadership positions throughout the sports industry, and address key actions for change.
