Blank Rome Partner Deborah Greenspan will co-chair and be a speaker at the Mass Tort Global Settlement Architecture Conference, being held May 2, 2019, in Washington, D.C.

As co-chair, Deborah will present Opening Remarks at 8:30 a.m. She will then participate in four panels later in the day.

At 8:45, she will moderate “What Constitutes the Effectiveness of Settlements?” with panelists Matthew J. Fischer (Riley Safer Holmes & Cancila LLP, Chicago, IL), Ellen K. Reisman (Reisman Karron Greene LLP, Washington, D.C.), and Joseph Warren (United States Department of Justice, Washington, D.C.).

Following that, at 9:30, she will be the moderator for “MDL: What Are Judges Looking For?” The other panelists will be Hon. Charles R. Breyer (Senior United States District Judge of the Northern District of California, San Francisco, CA) and Joe G. Hollingsworth (Hollingsworth LLP, Washington, D.C.)

At 10:30, Deborah will be one of four presenters sharing “The Administrators’ Perspective.” Francis E. McGovern (Professor of Law, Duke University School of Law, Durham, NC), William C. Mulvey (Vice President, Garretson Resolution Group, Cincinnati, OH), and Rachel Stoering (Chief Operating Officer, JND Legal Administration, Seattle, WA) will co-present.

Deborah’s final panel will be “Global Settlements and Insurance Coverage Considerations: What’s Your Policy?” at 11:30. The panelists will be Leslie Davis (Troutman Sanders LLP, Washington, D.C.), Peter Kelso (Principal, Economic & Complex Analytics Practice, Roux Associates, Inc., Arlington, VA), and an additional speaker to be added soon.

The conference will be followed by a networking reception.
